Fortum and RDIF to build largest solar power plant in Russia

HELSINKI, March 2 (Reuters) - Finland's biggest utility Fortum and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) will build a solar power plant in Russia that will be the biggest in the country, Fortum said on Tuesday.

Fortum said in a statement the plant in Kalmykia in southern Russia would have a total output of 116 million watts and it expected it to be fully commisioned in the second half of 2022.

It did not disclose the value of the investment.
