RDIF head expects first Russian Covid-19 vaccine to be registered within 10 days, ahead of U.S
MOSCOW. Aug 3 (Interfax) - A Russian Covid-19 vaccine is expected to be registered within the next ten days, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev said.
"We're expecting this vaccine to be registered within ten days. Of course, the Health Ministry will abide by all procedures. They've already received the first results of the first and second phases of the trials. They see that the results are very good," Dmitriev told the Rossiya-24 (VGTRK) television channel.
"If this happens within the next ten days, we'll get ahead of not only the United States, but also other countries, because this will be the first registered coronavirus vaccine," he said.
