Heads of Sibur, RDIF, independent director Gordon join Alrosa board, PhosAgro head not elected
MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - The CEOs of petrochemical group Sibur and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Dmitry Konov and Kirill Dmitriev, as well as independent director representing minority shareholders Maria Gordon were elected to the new supervisory board of Alrosa (MOEX: ALRS) at the Russian diamond miner's annual shareholder meeting on Friday.
PhosAgro (MOEX: PHOR) CEO Andrei Guryev, who was nominated to the board with an order from the prime minister dated March 16, was not elected to the board, although he was on the list of candidates, the company said.
Instead, veteran board member Oleg Fyodorov, a former adviser to the head of the Federal Property Agency, retained his seat, although he was not named in the government order.
