CNN Interview by RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev at Durban BRICS Summit
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to appoint representatives of the Russian Federation to the BRICS Business Council / Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa / for 2013–2015.
The Russian contingent of the Business Council is headed by Sergey Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The other members are Vladimir Dmitriev, Chairman of Vnesheconombank, Kirill Dmitriev, Chief Executive Officer of Russian Direct Investment Fund, Sergey Chemezov, head of Rostec Corporation, and Vladimir Yakunin, President of Russian Railways.
The BRICS Business Council was established at the BRICS summit in Durban / South Africa / in March 2013. The BRICS Business Council is an important tool enabling interaction within the business community and helping to create effective multilateral investment schemes to develop cooperation in various fields of business, in accordance with the BRICS countries’ long-term program of strategic cooperation.
