Russian Direct Investments Fund to be recapitalized with additional funds received from sales of state assets - Putin
STRELNA. June 16 (Interfax) - The recapitalization of the Russian Direct Investments Fund will be done with additional funds to be received from prospective sales of stakes in Russian state assets, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Also, I would like to note that with the additional funds received from the sale of stakes of [the government's] shares in state-owned companies, we plan to secure recapitalization of RDIF. Today I talked to members of the Russian government, the minister of economic development. The idea has been supported by the government," Putin said during the meeting with members of the RDIF international expert council and representatives of international investment community on Thursday.
