RDIF hosts seminar for Russia’s regions on investment projects for international investors
Moscow, 10 November 2015– The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) held a workshop for heads of regional investment agencies and development corporations. The RDIF’s senior management provided an overview of best international practices for pitching investment projects to international investors.
Representatives from the RDIF investment team described the key points for preparing technical documents, the process of attracting investors and the requirements of investment project from international investors, including supporting information.
During the seminar, RDIF presented new schemes by the Centre for Investment Promotion for attracting investment into Russia and the Investment Lift, the Russian President’s new initiative to support non-energy exporting companies.
The seminar was attended by representatives of regional investment agencies and development corporations from more than 20 Russian regions.
Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF)was established in 2011 to make equity co-investments, primarily in Russia, alongside reputable international financial and strategic investors. Center for Investment Promotion “Invest In Russia” aims to attract investment into Russian regions. The Center involves collecting data on attractive regional projects available for foreign investors. Using best global practices and RDIF experience of cooperation with foreign partners, the Center will support implementation of the standardized approach to the presentation of investment information, prioritization of investment projects and search for foreign co-investors.
