RDIF seeks Arab investors to finance Central Ring Road construction
MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) plans to bring in investors from Arab countries to participate in construction of the third and fourth phases of the Central Ring Road project, RDIF head Kirill Dmitriev said at a meeting of the State Council's presidium in Novosibirsk on Wednesday chaired by President Vladimir Putin.
"Our Arab partners have confirmed their desire to invest in the third and fourth phases of the Central Ring Road and we are working intensively with the Transportation Ministry and Rosavtodor to raise that investment. Another co-investor will be one of the leading non-state pension funds. That will make it possible to mobilize pension money," Dmitriev said.
