RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev discusses investment opportunities with leading Chinese investors

Hainan, April 10, 2014 – CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev, has attended the Boao Forum for Asia, a major international forum promoting political and business dialogue between Asia Pacific countries. Kirill Dmitriev participated in a closed Russian-Chinese meeting on Energy and Finance attended by a number of high-profile figures including representatives from Chinese companies such as China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Sinopec, State Grid Corporation of China, China Investment Corporation, China Development Bank and The Export-Import Bank of China. The meeting covered energy issues and financial cooperation between Russia and China.
Kirill Dmitriev attended the forum’s session on “Russia: from resource-driven economy to innovation” and spoke with China’s leading financial institutions on the prospects of joint investments in various sectors of the Russian economy including agriculture, real estate, transport, financial services, alternative energy, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications.
