RDIF, partners to spend 150 bln rbl on 5 waste incineration plants
SOCHI, Feb 15 (PRIME) -- The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Hitachi Zosen Inova and RT-Invest will invest 150 billion rubles in construction of five waste incineration plants, the RDIF said in a statement on Thursday.
The annual combined processing capacity of four plants to be built in the Moscow Region will amount to 2.8 million tonnes of solid municipal waste, which will generate about 280 megawatts (MW) of electric power annually.
The annual processing capacity of the plant to be built in Kazan will amount to up to 550,000 tonnes of solid municipal waste. The facility’s installed capacity will stand at about 55 MW.
